Based on a picture of Gary Sinise as the character George from Steinbecks novel 'Of Mice and Men'.

I think this was my first oil painting. I did it on a boring school holiday when I was 15 (10 years ago). We found an old 'paint by numbers' kit and instead of doing the dreadful painting of horses in a paddock I decided to do a portrait of my fave pic of Gary Sinise (who I was mildly obsessed with at the time). I really must read that book again too...
