I'm pretty excited that my cross stitches have been getting a lot of good attention lately! wyntreaurora (https://www.deviantart.com/wyntreaurora) messaged me yesterday to let me know that she had Jon Frakes, LeVar Burton and Wil Wheaton sign a cross stitch she had done of the TNG cast based on my pattern when she was at ComicCon this weekend. Wil Wheaton was so taken with CrossStitch!Crusher that he posted it on his Twitter page! http://twitpic.com/1s8z5y Anyway I am super excited that three of the cast have seen my mini versions of them!!! :D  And now I'm thinking I might make little patches for the actors to sign at the Vegas con I'm attending in 2 months time... So I'm three weeks into my epic Bruce Greenwood cross stitch and here's how he is looking so far. :thumb152637892: Coming along nicely although I'm hating some the shading on his right cheek (left side of the pic) :cries:  Still it might look OK when it's filled in more. You can definitely see the difference between the preview generated by the program and real life though. Still you can tell it's him, yeah? :bulletwhite: :bulletwhite: :bulletwhite: :bulletwhite: :bulletwhite: OH! And I knew I had something else to report. On the weekend my Star Trek cross stitch won first prize in the cross stitch/tapestry section at my local show :aww:

Only 898 days, 1 hour, 56 minutes and 43 seconds until Star Trek XII is released!!! :XD: Until then I'll probably be working on this: Yep I'm doing a 7x7" photo cross stitch of Bruce Greenwood. The man is hot, what more can I say? Plus I have Mae-chan (https://www.deviantart.com/mae-chan) enabling me like crazy so it's not all my fault. So usually I don't trust photo cross stitch patterns because they tend to think that shades of purple and green are suitable skin colours *sigh* But with a crap load of work using PCStitch I think I got this looking OK. I've bought all the skeins and the colours look good so far so fingers crossed!!! :D  Just don't ask me to do a colour pho
